Our grant process is designed to be transparent, straightforward, and supportive, guiding you from the initial idea to the final interview. Whether you’re applying for a Community Impact Grant or a Mini-Grant, we’ll be with you at each stage—helping you turn your ideas into real, lasting change in our community.

Our Grant Cycle Process

Research Grant Programs

Review our open grant cycles to determine which grant best aligns with the goals or your program or project.

Reach Out

Check in with our staff to brainstorm ideas, ask questions or receive feedback on grant application drafts. Contact us at info@mmacf.org or (906) 864-3599.

Submit Application

Our grant cycles open two weeks before the deadline.

Click here to access our grantee login portal.

Wait for Review

Our grant review committee reviews the applications and present funding recommendations to our Board of Directors. 

Receive Confirmation

We will notify you of  your approval or denial within 30 days of the grant deadline.

Grant Recap

A grant recap form is required within 13 months of your grant award. 

A volunteer will review your form with you upon completion.
