Types of Funds

Community Funds

The M&M Area Community Foundation (MMACF) has established several Community Funds dedicated to addressing the needs and opportunities within Marinette and Menominee Counties. Future Fund Children’s Savings Accounts

This fund aims to provide every child in Marinette and Menominee Counties with a savings account to support their future education and financial stability. By fostering early financial literacy and planning, we help pave the way for brighter futures for our youth.

Harm Reduction (Opioid Crisis Fund)

In response to the opioid crisis, this fund supports programs and initiatives focused on harm reduction, prevention, and recovery. Our goal is to reduce the impact of opioid addiction in our community through education, support services, and resources for those affected.

M&M Area Community Foundation Operating Fund

Grant Cycle Funds

The M&M Area Community Foundation (MMACF) supports local non-profit organizations through our Grant Cycle Funds, which are designed to address pressing community needs and foster positive change. These funds are distributed in response to applications submitted by local non-profits during our three grant cycles each year. Alcohol & Drug Abuse Prevention

Crivitz Area Giving Fund

Homelessness Prevention Services

This fund supports organizations that provide services and resources to prevent homelessness in our community. Grants are used for emergency shelter, housing assistance, and supportive services to help individuals and families maintain stable housing.

Peshtigo Area Community Endowment

The Peshtigo Area Community Endowment Fund supports projects and programs that benefit the Peshtigo community. Grants focus on a wide range of needs, from educational initiatives to community development projects.

Philanthropy

Twin Counties Emergency Service Providers

Women’s Giving Circle Restricted Endowment

Bobbi McGuire Memorial

Crivitz School District

DAR Boys & Girls Club

Dina Johnson Meissner Memorial

The Dina Johnson Meissner Memorial Fund supports causes that were important to Dina, providing funding for programs and initiatives that make a positive impact in the community.

Friends of St. Vincent de Paul

This fund benefits the Friends of St. Vincent de Paul, supporting their mission to provide assistance to those in need, including food, clothing, and other essential services.

Gail Wright New Teacher Support

Lyle “Chummy” McDonald Memorial

Marine Way Foundation Fund

Menominee Animal Shelter

North Central Area Schools

Carl Lukash Fund for the Peshtigo Police Department

The Timmie Riley Fund for Cats, Administered by the M.A.S.

Wausaukee School District Excellence in Education
